Daniel Cheng

Dr. Daniel Cheng is the Founder and President of Duka Real Estate and Consulting Services LLC, powered by eXp Commercial Realty, a worldwide corporate operates in 48 U.S. states and 27 countries. This cloud-based platform delivers data-driven insights, off-market access, and real-time brokerage support to clients worldwide. With over 20 years of experience in North Carolina, Dr. Cheng specializes in supporting manufacturing companies with U.S. site selection, incentive negotiation, facility setup, and joint venture partnerships. He has played a pivotal role in the U.S. expansion of manufacturers such as Changshu Friends Connector Technology Co., Ltd., Wasion Group, and Syntech Advanced Manufacture, etc. Dr. Cheng a CCIM-designated commercial real estate advisor and experienced cross-border business consultant. He holds a Ph.D. from Duke University and a B.S. from Xiamen University, and currently serves as Board Chairperson of the North Carolina Chinese Business Association (NCCBA), where he previously served as President from 2016 to 2020. He has led high-impact initiatives such as NCCBA’s 15th Anniversary Gala at the North Carolina Governor’s Mansion, helped establish multiple sister-city relationships between China and North Carolina, and co-developed a Duke–NCCBA executive education program to support Chinese entrepreneurs navigating U.S. business culture and leadership practices. A frequent media contributor and widely respected bridge-builder in U.S.–China commerce, Dr. Cheng continues to advise on strategic investment, leadership development, and international expansion.
